Hi Gina,

I think perhaps your doctor was thinking of Danocrine which is a generic name for Danazol. Danazol is used for endo and has been around for a long time. Is it possible he misspelled it on the script or couldn't remember the exact generic name? Nothing comes up when I search for Danacine.

I take Naproxen for my endo, but if I don't sit there and tell my doctor what to write he puts down Anaprox. Although they are a related drug they are not interchangeable by the pharmacy. He has a mental block about it and it has caused delays at the pharmacy because they know what I get (it's been 16 years) but the correction has to be approved by the doctor.
