-- Hi Dawn. You're right. Bcps only deal with the symptoms of endo, going off them does not cause regrowth. I've been on bcps for 15 yrs and during that time have had 4 laps to remove endo. Infertility is caused by the amount of scarring you have and that can occur sometimes if you go a long time before being diagnosed. However, everyone is different and some people don't have much scarring at all. Your best bet is to ask the dr who did your last lap abount the amount of scarring he found. Linda
