My first surgery was 4 hours of lasering, and it took me 4 weeks to return to work, so don't beat yourself up for not feeling good after just one week. We all heal differently, and there is no point in rushing this. BUT I agree that you should have your incision checked in case there is infection. Take care of yourself, rest, sleep (as my mother would say "sleep is as good as meat") and do things that make you happy while you are recouperating. Good luck.
