New to this forum - but not new to EndoFrom: Debi (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed Feb 25 21:47:32 2004
Hi: I have read many of the messages on this forum, and they have made me feel better. I realize that I am not the only one who is suffering from the many different symptoms of Endo. I was first diagnosed in 1994. Later I took Zolodex(hormone shots), and then cyclic BCP, endo came back. In 1996 I did the best thing for myself, I had my L ovary and fallopian tube removed and whatever endo was present. I got my life back again and it was wonderful. Since then I have had a child(very lucky) and now 7.5 years after my major surgery my pain is back again. I am having a conservative lap done on Friday, Feb. 27th to have the endo lasered off. Over the last couple weeks, my pain has been increasing, so I'm really hoping the surgery will make me feel better or normal again(whatever that is). This forum is great. Reading other peoples messages really helps my morale. Last week someone wrote that they had endo in their leg. How do you know? What does it feel like. I too have pain in my knee, as well as lately I have been getting a pain down the back of my leg sometimes to my foot(sciatic nerve I imagine). Maybe the endo is pressing on a nerve. Anybody have any ideas how to minimize this type of pain? I would really appreciate any.
-- Thanks, Debi
