Christina,

I also had a lap done on the 17th and today is the first day that I've felt close to normal. My doctor told me it could take anywhere from two weeks to six weeks depending how extensive the surgery and the repairing of the endo. I was never told that I would be feeling good within 24 to 48 hours. Although during my surgery they had to call in a bowel specialist as they discovered adhesions connected to the bowel. But my weight has went down a couple of pounds as I was unable to eat much the first week. The ten pounds weight gain in week could be a sign of a serious problem and as Judy suggested I would go to the ER. After my first surgery which I had to had a laparotomy. I developed a bubble in the incision which burst. I had a infection and an hole that was not healing in the incision so I was glad I went to the ER. Take care and if you need to chat feel free to email me.
