Hi! The only true way to diagnose endo is by the laparscopy. The laparoscopy is an outpatient procedure and only lasts maybe an hour. You have the surgery and then you go into recovery for an hour or so and then you go home. I have insurance, but my portion was still pretty high, so the hospital worked out payment options. You really should see about getting the surgery done....even if you can't afford it, ask about payment plans. This is a very important thing!! If you want to know where the pain is coming from it's the only way.
