Re: What's wrong with doctors today?

I, too, am feeling extremely bitter about doctors lately. When I went in for endo treatment, I did exactly what the dr. wanted me to do - lap, hysteroscopy, and then Lupron. Well, it didn't work.

Every time I call the dr. I get a different answer to my questions. If I get a nurse, they tell me one thing, the doctor tells me something else.

Finally, I decided to call TAP pharmaceuticals, the makers of Lupron. I got some customer service rep on the phone who could not answer my questions either.

SO - #1 if doctors don't know the answers about this drug, then how can they prescribe it? #2 if the people who make it don't have answers about it, then how did they get FDA approval to sell it?

I am very, very disappointed in doctors, pharmaceuticals, and the medical profession in general.

And you are right on when you say that they can make a pill for men to have sex but they can't figure out endo. Shows the values of the overall society, I think: Men are made to have a good time, and women are here to reproduce. And we think because we have voting rights, that we've come a long way?
