Re: Bloating and Pain During Ovulation - Can Anyone Relate? From: Drew (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sun Feb 1 20:14:05 2004
Hey ladies (And Barb?) I have similar condition to you. I have Stage III endo, and adhesions (with ovaries stuck to the bowels). I suspect I am not ovulating, but around the time I am SUPPOSED to be ovulating, I get these tucking and pulling pains around the ovaries / bowel area. Sometimes it feels like I need to go to the loo to empty my bowels - but I really don't need to. My first lap two years ago detected adhesions which totally ruin and block my left ovary, and unfortunately within less than a year my second lap indicated that the adhesions had returned and appeared worse than before. My doc explained that unfortunately once you have adhesions removed, there is a tendency for it to grow back (worse), but you have to have adhesions removed for pain relief or for pregnancy. So that's unfortunate reality. Do you ladies who have adhesions and endometriosis have problems falling pregnant and maintaining a pregnancy? I really really really want to be a mom and my past IVFs (2x) failed. Lv, Drew :o)
