Hi Heather, I also used to suffer from this pain, mostly when I was menstruating and need ing to open bowels. It is the worst pain you can imagine and only people who have it know what you are on about. I used to be immobile on the bathroom floor with it and just had to wait for it to pass. It does come in spasms like a sort of pulsating type pain. I know I have harped on about it before but wild yam tablets have stopped these for me. If I take three three times a day during my period and three once a day for the week before my period - I dont get those or period pains anymore. I think the chinese use it a lot but I havent seen it mentioned that much on endo sites except in cream form which I must admit I havent tried. Hope thats helpful Margo
