Hi Carrie,
I just wanted to write to you and tell you that I am still here on the
forum...thank you for answering one of my posts. I am not only lactose
intollerant but I now have IBS very badly. Through lots of research on
this forum and other places, I have found that the IBS and endometriosis
are definitely related due to adhesions on the intestines (which are
caused by the endometriosis itself and repeated surgeries). For anyone
who is interested I found a wonderful surgeon (supposed to be one of the
top three in the world) named Dr. Harry Reich. He has an office in
Pennsylvania and an office in New York. At my first appointment he
offered to do the surgery in the Cayman Islands where he can use a
product called Spray Gel. Spray Gel is an adhesion barrier that has
been being used in other countries for about two years now with great
results for preventing the adhesions from returning. The FDA hasn't
approved it for use in the US yet. If anyone wants more information
feel free to e-mail me. I have lots of great websites about Dr. Reich
and adhesions.
