question on fertility and infertility? (freezing eggs...)

Has anyone went somewhere to get their eggs freezed (not sure what its really called) so that just in case one is to be infertal or not able to carry a child when trying to get pregnant that they will then have the option to let someone else carry their child by implanting the eggs? So that the dna and child is really yours but because your not able to carry the baby someone else can, do you understand my question? Im dont sure what the procedure is called but Im interested in what it takes to do so and how much something like that would cost so that one could be for sure able to have a baby of their own! Im 21 years old and Ive had this for many years but Im afraid something may go wrong or being on this shot and putting me into menapause is going to do something to keep me from getting pregnant. And my doctor said so far my eggs are not being harmed that they are just laying there and to trust him that I will be okay but nothing is for sure and Im really scared and I know I should ask my doctor about it but when I go my mother is always with me which is great but I dont want her to know that Im looking into this, she might not understand or may worry or something so if anyone has any advice or can give me information on where to go and how much it would be to look into Id really appreciate it! Thanks!
