Rachel, How old are you? Do you have or want kids? Do you have endometriosis or is your doctor recomending a hyst just for the cyst? http://www.wdxcyber.com/mpain.htm

The website I pasted, I believe have some articles about young women having hyst. Pro's and Con's. If endo is your main problem and it is only in your uterus or ovaries that may be a good idea, but if it is elsewhere that may not eliminate the problem. Research this and keep us informed.
