Hello I am a young lady that has been taking the shot now for almost a year. My doctor recently in the last four months has uped my shot to 7.5. I also take a pill which I double up on called femhart that controls my hormones that are thrown into menopause which does help. I am 21 years old and have had this since I was 11 and I had one surgery and it didnt work and wasnt worth another. The endometrosis that I have attacts my organs, I have had to remove my appendix so far and I was having colon problems. Now that I uped my shot Im doing alright. The pain isnt bad at all every now and then I get some pain but not much just uncomfortable I guess. I do have my good days and bad with emotions but I know I will be ok, that its just my hormones. And the hormonal replacements do help me alot cause at the beginning I was taken none. I just pray that I can a baby someday, I am young and single and very scared. I talk to my mother a lot about how I feel but nobody but us that have it really understand how we feel so I hope I can get some people to help me out also in return, I will answer any questions and be there for anyone as long as I can in favor have some in return! My doctor said that I will have children some day as long as I continue the shot and once a year I get checked out completly including getting a ultrasound done so that you and the doctor can see if all the female organs and stuff are ok and the the eggs are still laying thing alright. I just need to know if anyone has been able to have a child after being on this harsh shot. The shot does hurt to get and is strong at first but I really would suggest to all to take a hormonal replacement with it, it truly has helped me! Also all of the symptoms like dryness and lack of wanting to be sexual and weight gain is some negative sight effects but I guess right now its worth it in my opinion just because I want to be pregnant and have a baby or four :) and I want to save my organs and the shot is the only thing that is helping me that I know of. I do get mixed emotions that I continually fight cause Im really scared! Well Ill write again with more later, thanks for listening and any advice at all would be good! Amanda
