Anon,

Some bleeding is normal after a laparoscopy, and yes, it is also normal for the stomach to still be a little swollen. It can also take a few days for the bowel to get moving again. That's good that you are drinking a lot of water and eating good. Also, if you aren't allergic to peanuts taking a spoonful of peanut butter every day will slow the amount of flow down some.

Even though these things are normal I would suggest calling your dr tomorrow to see what they say just to be on the safe side b/c of your concern. Better to overworry and have the dr reassure you that it's ok, than to ignore and find out later that something should have been done sooner.
