Hi All! I am a newbie here to the forums. I am 32 and was first diagnosed with endo at 16 yrs. Through that time I have been though various doctors, numerous laps, medications - birth control and lupron. Within the last 6 months the abdominal pain has gotten worse as well as the bowel symptoms and pain. Yesterday I went to the Doctor. He has decided to try the Depo Provera (not sure if thats how its spelled). If this doesn't work we are going to resort to a hysterectomy. I'm just so tired of feeling like a guinea pig, as nothing we have tried is working. The latest birth control pill was supposed to stop my periods completely. However, they only made things worse. I was bleeding every 16-18 days for a full 6-7 days. The pain didn't ease either. I am fortunate to have two wonderful children and two wonderful step daughters. I am very happy to have found a place to talk where I don't feel alone with this disease any longer. Has anyone had endo problems following a hysterectomy? I would like some feedback. Thanks!
