Help in California?

Hello, I am so new to this issue. Never even heard of it until I started acquiring the symptoms about 5 months ago. The problem is physician diagnosis. I, like many others I have read about, have been told I have gas, too much stool, constipation, anxiety, nothing and on and on. I have had 3 months where I couln barely walk, sit , or turn. No one can even touch my back, (lower up to shoulder blades.) My left leg is achy and painful and It feels like it is going to give out on me when I walk. I have had 4 instances of umbilical discharge and that is the area it all began in--my bellybutton. Two doctors have felt an abdominal mass and yet nothing on the ct scan or ultrasound or bloodwork. I do have a 2cm cyst on my left ovary and experienced main during the vaginal ultrasound. Does this sound like endo?/ Or something else?/ Surely not gas. My periods have always been excrutiating and I have missed many days of school and work due to it. I feel like I need to justify the level of my pain, because pain is not tangible, and that is what people need. To be able to see it to beleive it. My inability to function is not a good enough indication that I have something wrong with my body. So, after a little bit of venting, I need some help. I will be attending a meeting but it is not for a month and I do not want to wait. I was offered birth control and asked to come back in 6 months. I may need to wait until ENDOMETRIOSIS AWARNESS month to get an appropriate diagnosis. THanks KMS
