How I cured my endo painFrom: kimberley (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed Jan 28 13:55:34 2004
If it is of any help to anyone else, I have stage 2/3 endo which resulted in surgery in 2002 to remove a chocolate cyst. I then had 6 months of Zoladex treatment followed by taking 4 packs of Yasmin bcp in a row with one week breaks. I was in alot of pain whilst on Yasmin with lots of breakthrough bleeding. I lasted 6 months on Yasmin and then decided to come off it. I swithched form milk to soya milk, ate more fibre and have stopped eating bread & any products that have flour or yeast in them, It has taken about 2 months for the pain to go and now all I get is the tummy ache when my period starts which goes with a couple of paracetamol. I no longer bloat up or get water retention and I make sure I up my fibre intake in the week before my period as I have noticed that if I get constipated I'll get pain. I believe that yeast has something to do with endo, I am probably wrong but even my specialist does not want to see me anymore. Hope this helps, just give it a try for a couple of months. Kim
