I am at a severe disadvantage being in constant pain, sometimes unable to move my right leg at all, but I keep going because I have to, and because I want to. Endo has taught me that I am a lot stronger then I once thought, and it has humbled me, too. The biggest impact that endo has had on my life is that it has made me appreciate all the small things much more. I think that most people take for granted being able to take a shower or cook a meal, as if being able to do something like that is just a given in life. But for me, on the days that I feel up to doing what is considered "normal," I feel ever so grateful for the opportunity to do my share. Life really is what you make of it, and I refuse to let anything get me down. You can choose to complain about your circumstances or you can choose to accept them. I choose to accept them and be grateful for all that I do have instead of focusing on what I don't have. Don't let your circutmstances determine your happiness. Joy comes from within and no amount of pain should ever lessen that joy!!
