Looking for SupportFrom: Ann-Courtney (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue Jan 20 12:16:59 2004
I was diagnosed Jan '02 at the age of 20. I did six months of lupron. During this time my husband and I decided that when the lupron was done we would try to conceive. I didn't expect to get pregnant the first try (although it would have been nice ) but it's harder each time becuase I really want to have kids. My husband is fifth of six kids. No one in his family or my family have endometriosis. It seems that everyone gets pregnant without any trouble. Sex is not always painful, but painless is the exception. I can't imagine months and months of trying. My husband tries to be supportive but he can't really understand. Everyone in my life is really supportive of me but I feel like there's no way they could understand. I dont' talk to anyone about my pain during sex because it makes me feel weird. I always thought that trying to conceive would be the easiest part of having kids but right now it seems like the hardest. I just need to know if anyone else is going through this also. I know this is long and rambly but I just needed to vent it out. If you read this far, thanks for taking the time! =) Hope you are having a pain free, great day!
