Re: Back PainFrom: Olivia (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat Jan 17 16:09:15 2004
Hi Wendy, I know exactly where you are coming from. I had my last lap. in August and then started CBCP's shortly after. I think the pills made me worse...I had constant cramping and felt bloated and miserable...I would end up breaking almost every month...just to get the period over with. I have tried many different cbcp's in the past...all with the same results. Needless to say..i've just stopped taking them now. About the back pain...I am having the same problem...my back is constantly hurting..I wake up everyday hoping it will be gone...but it's not. For me..it's such a constant, nauseating, and burning feeling...it's horrible. I've been told that cul-de-sac endo. is responsible for causing the back pain. I also try pain pills (not narcotic ones because my doc won't give me them) and basically live with a heating pad on my back. Like others have suggested...it wouldn't hurt to explore other options for your pain...but I know in my case...that it's all endo. related. Good luck...feel free to contact me any time..k? Luv, Olivia
