Re: -occuring endometriosisFrom: Jennifer (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed Jan 14 19:18:51 2004
My last lap also didn't deliver results. I have several of your issues with the hormones and bcps. Though I tried again and stopped again. I tried the chinese herbs nothing, accupuncture worked for a little while. I take painkillers daily. Today I went to a homeopath -- and he was really helpful so now I am swallowing lots of interesting things. Although at this point if someone told me drinking lizard blood and eating the skin would help, I would likely try it. I am just starting this effort -- however, I feel really encouraged. Alot of my issues seem to revolve around epstein barr as well -- which developed sometime last fall. And they still think I have IC -- something is wrong with my bladder. And I know having just finished a 3rd cycle, that there is definitely endo still in my body -- that pain is endo pain. Avoiding sugar should help, and I would try to look for a recommended homeopath in the area. I was reluctant, but after lots of ultrasounds, and pelvic exams and more meds to try,... I needed to try another course. I attribute all my newfound health issues to endo. And the pain with intercourse is worse than before and makes it nonviable. Since you are new to this - you will probably have some emotional processing to do as well. Did you get the op report and the pathology? You want that for your records. Photos/video are good as well.
