Hey Rosa...my name is Nicole and I am new here too...I am 26 and have had pelvic pain since I was 17...my problems have gotten progressivley worse over the years and just this year I ended up in the hospital and was finally diagnosed with endometriosis and polycystic ovaries...I am currently on Lupron to help the endo but I am not feeling better and I am gaining weight...I feel your frustration about being otherwise healthy. This has completely taken over my life in many aspects....I have a lot of urinary pain as well and sex has been out of the question for a long time now. I am also worried about fertility as well.

When I was in the hospital the woman sharing my room had been misdiagnosed for YEARS and by the time they realized she had endo she had to come in for surgery to have her uterus and some of her intestines removed because the endo had grown around them....I am so scared that this could happen to me and I get frustrated because I don't always feel like the doctors are always listening and answering all of my questions...in fact, in the 4 months since I have started the Lupron I have only seen the nurses in my doctor's office...I have never been able to see him ONCE...

I went on the Lupron before I have had a lap because my doctor told me it could help to control the problem before the surgery....as I said, I am not feeling much better and was wondering, since you have had a lap before, how long it took you to recover....

Anyway, this was meant to be a hello and I just completely vented...but like you said, this is a wonderful resource....it is so nice to have the opportunity to hear from and talk to people who actually understand what you are going through.
