Went to an endroconoligist 20 years ago, don't remember too much, but said I had too much prolactin & treated me with a drug I don't remember. Yes, have been dealing with balancing the hormones the last few months(great success) but in the natural way with herbal treatments, don quai, chasteberry, progesterone cream & much, much more. Great Idea to have your hormones tested & see first what is out of balance,I have read that is usually estrogen dominance. Remember that their are going to be 2 different ways you can go with the hormone treatments, natural or synthetic, your choice, natural progesterone through wild yam cream & natural progesterone suppositories are out their that are much stronger. I have read that the natural hormones are made out of the same ingredients our bodies make & the synthetic hormones out of pregnant horse urine? excuse me I may be wrong. My gyno did tell me about bcp(did that route before) causing more problems in the long run, because they contain estrogen & estrogen causes the endo to grow! Let us know what you find out. Keep searching! Lori >
