Hi everyone, I am having my second lap at the end of the month but I have been a bit left in the dark about it all. I had my first lap in 2002, which he found that I had endo and removed some of it but after the op I still had the pain. The doc has now put me on the pill all the time with no break because I only get the pain when Im on my period. The doc has told me I need another lap but hasnt really told me why! I can not see the doc before I have the op but I have some questions to ask him about what and why he is doing this. I wondered if anyone could give some answers to my questions? Firstly, is it worth doing this op if now Im on the pill I will not have any pain anyway? or do I need it because the endo will build up? If I do require another lap does this mean I will need one every two years? Please help! Thanks
