Treating Endo as as Autoimmune Disease

Sorry if this is just too much info: I have had a feeling that my Dr. might be correct when treating my problems as auto-immune. Since I feel about 80% better in almost 3 months, I now tend to believe in this as I was so skeptical before. Also he says things about the bowel leaking toxins into the bloodstream. Yes, I believe this also since everytime I felt a bowel movement coming on I felt like I would throw up. The health industry norm is about 2X a day & I never thought this was a problem for me because I went every day or every other day. He blames it on my nerves that caused all of this. Not a great thing to hear(made me mad), but I try to stay open minded. I was a very nervous person growing up. Also had major tonsil infections constantly. Of course I think all the toxins in the environment also play a part. Who really knows the exact cause & do not want to focus on the past, but I am sure interested in treatments that work & why they work. I had extreme fatigue along with so much else... I felt like my whole body was falling apart from my brain fogginess, bladder, bowel, stomach, eye floaters, low blood sugar...along with the endo. Still being treated.
