It has been my experience that a lot of GYN physicians are not knowledgable enough in the area of endometriosis...even if they think they are. In fact, only 25-30% of women with endo have ANY fertility problems. If the endo involves your tubes/ovaries there may be some difficulty in conceiving, but it is still not out of the question in all cases. Don't give up with your search for care. The pain is maddening often but there is help to be found. I have had it for almost 20 years. I do have two children, without complication. Every endo case is unique. There is hope that better care is available. There are a lot of good comments in this forum. Do a few searches and see what some have said about their experience. Hang in there!!
