Re: Anyone have/had appendix problems w/ endometriosis?

Tizzie,
I personally don't think I have endo on my appendix, but my boss at work
had to have emergency surgery this summer to have her right ovary
removed from cysts and endo, and during the surgery, they also took her
appendix because it was covered in endo. As someone else replied back
and said, endo can be anywhere. Sounds like you are on the right track
though, as far as getting everything checked and getting a second
opinion. I hope things get better for you and the pain subsides. I too
have lots of burning pain on the right side and know how frustrating it
is. I am burning too, as I write this, but I just had an ultrasound a
month ago, and a colonoscopy last week, and all was well. The pain may
just be from endo and scar tissue and not related to your appendix.
Hugs!
Amy
