Re: Still can't have sex after a year and still in pain

Angie, I have pain with sex but it has always been that way for me due to endo. I wanted to really reply back to you to say that Endo can come back that quick and if your Doctor insists that it cannot, I personally would find another Doc. There are no guarantees that surgery even helps Endo, and it can rear it's ugly head soon after surgery. Both of my laps have only provided about a year of relief before I was right back to square one. Bleeding that much is not normal either. I would put my foot down with the Doc. Knowledge is power and trust me, I think most of us Endo sufferers are more knowledgable on it that a lot of the Doctors out there. If he/she thinks it cannot come back so soon, they are not very well educated on the disease. I hope this doesn't sound harsh, as I don't mean it to, I just get so sick of Doctors who misguide us and are not as informed as they should be.

Feel free to email me direct if you ever want to talk.

Hugs! Amy Meyer
