constant painFrom: Softball (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon Dec 29 18:33:09 2003
It's me again. For those of you who don't know my history I am 19 and the doctors think that I have endo. I have all the symptoms and am having a lap on the 23. I'm scared, but I know that's it's the only way to know for sure that this is what is causing my pain. All my problems started when I was about 13 and I have lived with them since then. I was put on birth control at 14 and it seemed to help, but now in the past month and a half I have been miserable. I went to the doctor, ended up back in there a week later for an ultrasound because I was in soo much pain, it didn't show anything. Therefore my doctor gave me two more pain meds, one which has codine in it. They help at times, but it seems like the past week nothing helps. I have been taking my pain meds and just lying around with the heat pad and nothing seems to work. Does anyone have any other suggestions? I'm at a loss. I just wish that the 23 would get here so I can find out if that's what it is. I am soo tired of living with pain. I have been soo down since Xmas eve it's not even funny. On christmas, which was also my birthday I just laid in bed all day because I felt soo bad. I just want this to be over. Can someone please shed some light for me? I don't go back to the doctor before my lap. I would appreciate any input from anyone. Fell free to email me at softball34life@yahoo.com. Thanks, Softball ps. sorry for the long message
