If the ovary is still producing eggs and those eggs are capable of being moved to your tubes it would be bad. If the ovary is damaged due to the size of cysts and the ovary is no longer functioning then you would not be able to get prenant through that ovary, just out of the good one. hope this helps I am not a doctor by any means but have done quite a bit a research since I do teach part of this to my students, your doctor should be able to run tests on that ovary, just like they do for fertility tests, or should be able to tell just from the lap if the ovary looks bad.
