Hello to all you wonderful supportive ladies out there. I can't say how thankful I am to have found this forum. Anyway, I would greatly appreciate any info or personal stories or advice on appendix issues. I had my first laposcopy on 10/21 and still haven't had a day of pain relief. As I sit here typing this, my right side is "burning" as it does daily and there seems to be some strange movement and sounds going on. (No, I'm not pregnant) After getting fed up with my original doctor (that did the surgery) I decided to go get a 2nd opinion. During my original surgery, my doctor removed "some" endometriosis and adhesions, and "1" cyst. Turns out after getting a hold of my op report, he removed "numerous" cysts, including one on my right ovary. So...At the consult with the new dr, he did a internal ultra-sound and found that my right ovary doesn't "slide" back into position when I lay down, there's something that appears to be sitting on my bladder (I've been having bladder spasms since two weeks before my surgery), and finally, that my appendix looked inflammed. So I've already had 2 of 4 tests done on my kidney's, gallbladder, intestines, etc. And I am terrified that my appendix is going to burst. My pains are increasing, although I didn't think that was possible, and the worst part is, my boyfriend and I leave for a visit to his parents hse in FL that we can't get out of. I'm so afraid for my condition and it's the first thing I think of when I wake up and the last thing I think of when I go to sleep (the very seldom that sleep happens). So, if anyone can lend me some advice, knowledge, anything, I would be so grateful. I've been doing so much research and all my symptoms point to appendicitis and I guess I need to hear some personal opinions. Thanks for listening to me ramble...take care. tizzie.
