Hi there fellow sufferers, I've just been through breast cancer, two operations & now discover that i have large fibroids and possible endometriosis. I have managed to get through breast cancer without any hormonal treatment and now feel very down about the prospect of having to resort to it anyway after a laparoscopy due to be performed next week end. My surgeon has suggested prostap which seems quite drastic. However normally i get terrible pain at period times but have been taking indole 3 carbinol to lower my oestrogens naturally (Hale Clinic London) & also Natural Progestrone Cream. These two combined have given me two relatively PAIN FREE periods in a row. Dr John Lee has written several books on the benifits of natural progesterone cream for numerous womens problems from breast cancer to fibroids and endo. It seems to be working, but i still have to go through the surgery as the fibroids are causing a lot of pain and discomfort, anemia & back numbness not to mention fatigue. Good luck to you all. The cream is believed to protect from cancer too and help with hot flushes. I may end up having a hysterectomy anyway but in the mean time the cream really helps and could prevent a lot of people having to go down the route i've been. Dr Lee also has a web site http://www.johnleemd.com All the best Ann.
