go ahead and have the surgery. if it's endo, you can get it treated. i tried to find a doc who would listen to me about the pain, but they kept telling me i was young and just still getting used to periods, and that it was part of being a woman. i was 20 at the time also. i'm 32 now, we've been trying to have a baby for 8 years. i finally found a doc who listened last year. since then, he's done 2 laps to remove endo, and we are still aggressively trying for a baby.

please get it treated as soon as you can. i would hate to see you go through the heartbreak i'm experiencing because of delayed diagnosis. if you can salvage your fertility, then do so. also, since my last surgery in june, i've been pain free. :) that's at least one good thing.

(((hugs))) i know you're scared, but if you have a chance to live without pain, then go for it.
