Re: Possible removal of a ovary

Hello - I had my left ovary and fallopian tube removed two months ago and it has relieved my pain. My dr. still thinks it is possible for me to get pregnant if I plan on it in the future - I am 27 years old. I too have tried Lupron, birth control, etc and nothing was helping. He wanted to remove my left ovary b/c it was fixed to my pelvic wall and apparently that is not a good thing. Anyway, I hope that you make the right decisions. Email or respond if you have anymore questions.

Good Luck Jenny

>Hi my name is Jessie im 21 and I have Endometriosis and I just had my left Ovary removed because the Cyst was too big. I just found out after my surgury that thats what i had. Im scared that I wont be able to have children now. My Doctor hasnt given me much feed back about this whole thing which is scaring me even more. He says he wants to start me on birth control and then when I want to get Pregnant he says try for a year on my own and if that dosent work hell put me on some pills and still if that dosent work then well run tests. This whole thing is so weird 2 me. As for giving you advice on what you should do im not too sure because like I said I had never heard of this before until now.
