I am new to this board and for the first time since April I know exactly what is causing my shoulder to hurt. It started in my right hip after my daughter was born, every month usually a few days before my period it would hurt intensely, as fast as it came in my hip it was gone within days of the onset of my period. That lasted for 6 - 8 months. Then in the next cycle it started in my shoulder and has continued since April. I kept thinking it was from a sleeping position or typing on the computer. Nothing has worked to stop the pain. The Dr.'s have had no answers for me. They told me my hip pain was "possibly" caused by a cysts on my right ovary. Thank you so much for helping me to answer some of the unknown. I am trying to conceive #2 and hopefully when pregnant again, I will no longer have the pains associated with endometriosis.
