Sarah,

Hi, A doctor was explaining to me about the Endometriosis and he said that, in order to have a laparoscopy done it has to be done for someone who has very good experience becuase Endo is very dificult to find and if the doctor does not have skills it make it more dificult to find the endo. In order words and base on what he said the pain continues because the Endo has not been found completly therefore many women goes for so many unnecesary surgeries. I had endo state 4 and suffer for about5 years but it look like I was lucky enought to find a good doctor who inmediately put me on Birth Control pills then I changed to Lupron that, even though has side effects really stopped Endo from growing. So far I have my first year pain free. Last month I felt a little pain but I was able to managed the pain with Avil when I used to take Demerol, percocet and other strong pain med. I used to go to the hospital almost every month and I was not able to work for at least 2 days, 24 hours abdominal pain, vomiting, diaharea, etc. Thank God i'm doing fine so far. Good luck!
