I had a 11 hour surgery 5 years ago and read my post op report only this week because I've been unable to look at it due to the trauma I went through post op due to bowel resection complications and some. I was terrified when I read they did a partial vaginectomy on me and also have the same concerns you do. I am once more experiencing shooting pain down my left leg just like before my surgery 5 years ago and am wondering what causes that pain. My Ob in San Diego is not an endo specialist like the dr who operated on me in Atlanta...and doesn't know why I'm getting pain in my left side (ovary??) and radiates down my left leg.
