try lying in different positions. if you notice you're spending more time flat on your back, start spending time in a recliner. you're more propped up. don't forget to walk as much as possible. if you have any residual co2 in there, the walking will help your body absorb it.

don't know about the congestion. but don't mix cold pills with pain killers. try zinc lozenges instead.
