When she got her second shot, the dr added progesterone, which intensified the headaches, worsened the hot flashes and caused her to break out crying several times a day. After 4 days, the dr discontinued the progesterone and added 1 mg of estrogen. It was an immediate change. She still gets some headaches and hot flashes, but they are very tolerable.
