My name is Valerie, I am 29. I am having my first lap on this coming Wednesday. I had a sonogram last month that showed a mass between my uterus and bowel, a possible endometrioma. I have serious bowel issues but only with my period. Very painful gas that gets trapped in me and this is going to sound funny but it feels like stabbing pain in my rectum. Have any of you had anything like this? Also I don't have a lot of menstrual cramps but I have this inflamed feeling all the time in my uterus it seems. Can any of you tell me a little about your lap experiences. How long does it take, how is the anesthetic, does it wear off fast or do you feel it for days? Is there pain after? Any advice if appreciated.
