-- Hi Carissa. Bcps are only used to help control endo. To my knowledge there isn't any one pill that is the "right" one and no pill will cure endo. It's a matter of trial and error. I've been on about a dozen types if bcps in the past 15 yrs. Right now I also take min orval continuously and so far its been working for me. However in many cases bcps have stopped working for me and I've had spotting and bleeding mid-cycle. When that happens I have to switch to a different type of bcp. I did some research on seasonale a while back. It is prescribed as a contiuous bcp and comes in packs of 84. You take it for 3 months and then take a week off to have a forced period. It's not available in Canada yet but it's drug dosages are the same as min-orval so taking that continuously works the same. If you find min orval isn't helping you the best thing to do is go back to your dr and ask him if a different pill will work better for you. Good luck. Linda
