Have been on birth control pills since i'm 15 to control excessive bleeding...stayed on them even after the tubal. I had thermal ablation done 3 years ago and it didn't even slow down the bleeding. within two months i was back on birth control pills. due to a possible mini stroke (sad at 44), i had to stop taking the pills. last month i bled for four days....now i've been bleeding for 3 days but almost to the point of a hemmorage. I know if i call my ob/gym (who is not the same dr. who performed the surgery), he is going to admit me for either a hysterectomy or another thermal ablation...he things the doctor who performed the first one didn't do it right....however, i am bleeding so bad now that i know i should go to the ER but am too tired to do so. I am interested in what feedback you received and how you are feeling now. Any help and advice you can provide is greatly appreciated.
