Re: Help, EXTREME low back pain lately, have had endometriosis for yearsFrom: Marie (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue Nov 11 05:22:19 2003
Dear Carisse, unfortunately back pain is another symptom of Endo. I suffer horrible lower back pain all the time at any given time(day or night). In some women like myself it's usually when the disease continues to spread itself to,"the Pouch of Douglas". I wouldn't worry yourself about it, it's just one of many symptoms one experiences on Endo. As for me, I just about have all the symptoms one can have, lucky me. As for the pain, I manage it by exercising and a special diet,it works for me. I've just started using natural progesterone cream (herbal type) to help balance and correct my hormones. I've only just started, so I can't tell you if it's working yet. I've been told that progesterone is an important hormone and that it primaryly helps increase the chances of falling pregnant. In fact, the progesterone hormone is responsible for proper fertilization and in keeping the egg alive. In any case, it will help inhibiting oestergone levels in your body, increase in progesterone thus taking the edge of these symptoms, one can only hope. Hope this has help. Let me know how you go. Regards, Maria.
