Chronic vaginal pain/ discomfortFrom: anonymous (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon Nov 10 08:40:49 2003
After some months of infertility treatments I was considering separating from my hsband and I rented an apartment. During this time I had unprotected sex with a friend of mine who is divorced. He had told me that he had herpes and to my knowledge he does not have any other STD's. After this affair, I started having vaginal burning/discomfort. I went to 4 different dr.s and got tested for Herpes along with many other things (Primarily STD'a dn yeast infections and bacterial infections) and they can not seem to find anything as of yet. I got tested for HIV and am feeling guilt, remorse, pain both from my infideility and from this chronic vaginal burning/discomfort. It just seems to go away and come back and I just do not understand what could be causing this. At this point, it is small pain like hair being pulled out. But it is there all the time and it changes location in my vaginal area. I will greatly appreciate any help/direction you may provide. Thank you.
