Re: Making decision/looking for input.....

I have taken Lupron and found it did help my endo for awhile. I was pain free while on the shots and stayed that way for about a year after I stopped them. Of course now my endo is back with a venegance! Don't really know what to tell you to do. Both options are scary. Do your research and decide what is best for you. I personally had a good experience on Lupron (few minor side effects like night sweats and hot flashes, but they were more annoying than anything, and bad headaches the first couple days after an injection) but many women do not do well on it. My Doc told me that everyone reacts differently to it and you really don't know how it will effect you. I finally tried it because I had already had two laps and tried all kinds of birth control and wasn't getting anywhere. Now I take my pills continuously with no periods, but that isn't doing much anymore either and I am seriously considering a hysto next year.

I hope whatever you decide that it brings you some relief! Feel free to email me direct if you want to talk further.

Hugs! Amy Meyer
