Re: Poor libido

Are you taking any kind of birth control pills or any other hormones (depo provera, Lupron, etc?) If so, you might want to talk to your Doc about trying a different kind of birth control. I have been on many different kinds of birth control pills over the years and some affected my libido more than others. And I know personally that Lupron kills your sex drive while you are taking it and have heard the same about depo.

I find that some of my lack of libido is mental. Hard to get excited about sex when I think of the pain that will probably come during or after. That's a hard one to get over! I try my best to get past this block on the days that I don't physically feel bad. Not really sure what to tell you other than I can understand. I can say that one thing that helps me "get in the mood" is a back run or massage from my hubby. Helps me to relax a little and prepare!

Hang in there! Amy
