tailbone pain and Lupron

I have had tailbone pain (no aparant cause) with sitting daily for 15 months now. Because it hurts to the touch (not like it does to sit on it) and because it only hurts when I sit, doctors didn't think it was Endo. I have tried all of the typical things that work for coccydynia which is the name for chronic tailbone pain. I have used donut and wedge cushions, steroids, antiinflammatories; had acupunture, chiropractic treatment, 2 cortisone injections and naturopathic treatment. Recently I bought a coccyx cut out chair for $700 CAD. I even took 8 months off over winter-summer so I could sit only when absolutely necessary. Right now I have to take 40mg of Bextra a day just to be able to sit minimally with my special cushion and chair. All of my doctors are starting to wonder if the pain is referred from Endo on a nerve pathway. I had a laparoscopy in June and it didn't help and my doctor isn't keen to do another since I am only stage 1 and "surgery carries risks too". A doctor has suggested that I try Lupron to rule out Endo as the cause of the tailbone pain. There is something about that that I do not understand and I wonder if any of you can help. If Lupron cures the tailbone pain than obviously the cause is Endo; I understand that. What if the Lupron does not work for the tailbone pain...then how do I know 100% that it still isn't caused by Endo? People still have pain after full hysterectomy and Lupron does not work for everyone right? Thanks, Amanda
