Third Lap resultsFrom: Courtney (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri Oct 31 12:09:42 2003
Well, just done with my third lap. Was having terrible pain prior to the lap and so we decided it was the best option. In the past I have been diagnosed with mild endo but many other abdominal issues, polyps, a whole in the pertinoneal ligament etc. Well this time we found no endo, so that is the good news. Found a bunch of other things. My uterus aparently has an over abundance of blood vessels. I can't remember the name for this, but they bleed continually. Also there was some sort of bacteria that was all over the surface of the uteran lining. I will know more about this soon. Anyone else have this? He said it is something they usually find in clymidia patients but I don't have clymidia or any other STD's. Adhesions on my bowels too. And some fatty growths that were pulling the walls and muscles in my abdomin around. Hopefully one or all of these things will be the cause of the pain and I will feel better after I recover. This is going to be a longer recovery. I have many more incisions this time and he said most of these things were difficult to remove so there will be more bruising. Anyway, just wanted to let you guy know I made it through another one and see if anyone else might have had any of these things. Thanks, Court
