I can tell you from my experience that I have constant pain throughout my cycle, with alternating bouts of constipation/poopsies, and the pain usually gets worse about from ovulation onwards. From what I understand, the pain can be throughout the entire cycle, or just at certain points, or for some lucky women, non-existent.
