Re: ENDO an autoimmune disease?

Jen, for about a year I felt run down, low grade fevers, no energy, and felt just crappy. It turns out that edno can mimic an autoimmune disorder. One of main reasons I now believe this theory is that I was having horrible pain in my hips and lower back, when I began my Lupron shots (after about 3) this pain went away, so the pain from endo had been though to be a bad back and arthritis in my hips from years of riding hunters and jumpers. While I have not found any direct clinical evidence (studies) I bounced this idea off my gp and she finds it plausable since endo is an inflammitory condition, but she has also not heard of any direct studies to confirm this.
